Facilitators are required to work at least 24 programs per year for up to
ten hours per program.
If you are working at our Doswell location, this translates into about 3-4 days
per month, from March through November. We have two typical program lengths,
half-day programs and full day programs. You will work a 7-hour day for a
half-day program and a 10-hour day for a full day program. Our programs have
flexible start times, but quite often a half-day program might mean working 7:30
am until 2:30 pm for a morning program or working or 11:00 am until 6:00 pm for
an evening program. Our full day programs usually mean working as early as 7:00
am and as late as 6:00 pm. Facilitators at Doswell are paid a per diem wage of
$100 for half-day and $150 for a full-day.
If you are working at our UR location only, these programs vary in length so you
may be working 4-hours total or as many as 9-hours total. Each program has a
different duration but you will never work less than 4 hours. Facilitators at UR
are paid an hourly wage of $10 per hour.
