Challenge Discovery Facilitator Job
Description/Expectations
At Challenge Discovery, our facilitators lead
teams of about 10-15 participants from
corporations and community organizations in
teambuilding initiatives. In this role, our
facilitators present a variety of activities
including problem-solving exercises and high
challenge initiatives. Facilitators also lead
debriefing sessions after the exercises intended
to explore group dynamics and connect team
members' experiences to real life situations at
home, work or school. Additional opportunities
to work in other settings with larger groups may
also be available throughout our season.
Challenge Discovery holds its team members to
exceptionally high standards of professional
performance. While prior challenge course
experience is not necessary, all facilitators
must have exceptional interpersonal and
communication skills as well as the ability to
learn and apply technical skills.
